Completed Stables Build Somerset

Another wonderful stables build Somerset was completed recently near Wellington, Somerset. And what an amzing build this was. Below is the step by step of how these were constructed.

From our previous post to the finished project. For once the ground here was pretty flat and excavtion for the concrete base was straightforward. The great thing with a stable build is there is a lot less specification requirement than building a house. However, the finished look isn’t comprimised.

Any wooden structure follows a methodical approach when the shape of the stable is like this project. The key thuing is to get the foundations level – sounds obvious i know but the project is made easier when measurements for the structure are the same throughout. This barn ws finished in no time at all. Once the structure was in place and the roof added it was clad and reaady to go.

This stable build ran to schedule and was helped a little by the weather being good for the period of the build.

Having worked in the South West for many years we have constructed many rural projects. Some of the builds have been with metal beams rather than wood. There are benefits of both depending on the specific location and use. If you are considering an agricultural style use building then get in touch to discuss what options you have. It may be a new storage barn or a stable you are looking to develop.

We have an experienced team that works hard to get the desired result for your project. Together we can plan the best approach for both your build and our workload. We can work around your cashflow requirements if required. Get in touch today to see how we can help you.
