House Build Wiveliscombe, Somerset

This new house build project in Wiveliscombe, Somerset effectively doubled the existing property size. An intriguing house build in Wiveliscombe that started with a huge challenge of digging into the hill to the side of the house to build retaining walls. Once in place the external walls were built around the existing structure to form the new build extension. The old house was then knocked down to put the roof on the new house walls.

On this project we added 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as adding electrics and new central heating throughout. Externally new hardwood windows were fitted. Internally our carpentry skills were used to make amazing oak doors, fit skirting and put oak beams in the kitchen. In addition there were 2 large fireplaces to add character to this house build.
