Loft Conversion Somerset

We were asked to convert a loft to make the house larger by adding a new bedroom. We extended out to create a lovely window giving the room more space. This loft conversion was challenging to create. We created a structure for the dorma roof with multiples RSJ’s. The dorma was lead cladded to protect from the elements and provide a long term of maintenance free protection.

This loft conversion in Somerset had a new staircase built into the new room. Having worked on the plumbing and electrics we then decorated the new room. A loft conversion is a great use of space for those unable to develop to the side or back of a property.
